David Collins

David Collins is a specialist coach, facilitator, and consultant with an extensive background in the financial sector. He sits on the panel of external coaches for Investec as well as Nedbank but also has working relationships with JPMorgan, CITI Bank as well as ABSA and Standard Bank. David has a keen sense of social responsibility and its importance to the sustainability of countries and economies. To this end, David started The Foundation Clinic – Addiction Recovery Solutions formally SHARP, a primary care facility for people suffering from substance abuse.

David then went on to be the founder of the U-ACT Trust (Ubuntu Addiction Community Trust & the Ubuntu Academy of Coaching & Training), a Section 18A company whose aim is to incorporate the skills and success of coaching in the field of Recovery Coaching. The U-ACT coaching academy has since grown into a global organization with representatives in the U.K, Australia, New Zealand, Botswana, South Africa, Hong Kong and now the USA. 

Nikki Edwards

NIKKI has trained as a Life Coach, Recovery Coach, and Trauma counselor. She is passionate about assisting clients to discover their truth and purpose. Nikki is about helping clients to reconnect and unifying the mind, body, and spirit that has been split by substance abuse and addiction. Facilitating and developing the client’s personal power, through practical tools and techniques which aid and sustain long-term recovery. Her method is holistic and scientific, incorporating various models of treatment to assist the client in finding their true essence. Nikki has many years of experience and has substantial years in recovery time herself. She manages her own coaching practice, is the U-ACT Cape Town training coordinator and an external coach for the Foundation Clinic. Nikki has worked as a Trauma counselor for the SAPS and has completed her Professional Recovery Coach certification with U-ACT. She is also the first Peer Recovery Specialist online Facilitator and will be coordinating the training delivery in collaboration with our international, online partner, Pocket Rehab.

Tia Boulton

Tia is a Recovery and Life Coach, and she has been in practice since 2010.  She has a great passion and love for humanity, and walks alongside her clients, empowering them in their transition in where they are, to where they want to be.  Tia believes that everyone can reach their desired goals and feel the joy of their existence. Using systemic coaching as a tool, everyone has ability to reach their true potential and live a joyful, abundant life. Tia has worked in the substance abuse sector since 2010, but her work is not limited to substance abuse or addiction. She currently works as a facilitator for U-ACT, delivering training as a key member of the international team, with the founder of the School, David Collins.  Tia is the owner of The Healing Studios and is trained in alternative healing therapy and reflexology. Tia is also a coach supervisor and assessor, assisting students to reach for their dreams and achieve their accreditation and masters in the coaching industry. Her motto is ‘We all rise together” and stands firm in this belief.
